Version of 9 October 2026 · metal.furnigen.app

In short and without small print: what the site sees when you use it, why, how long it is kept and how to ask for deletion. The site is metalgen, a planner for rooms with metal furniture (beta), plus pages with example calculations (/l/).

Who is responsible

Leonid Dymenko, Ukraine.
Email: [email protected] · phone: +380 63 233 22 80.

The site runs on the operator’s computer in Ukraine. Requests reach it through the Cloudflare network (a secure Cloudflare Tunnel connection).

What data we receive and why

Technical request log. For every request the server records the time, method, page address without parameters (nothing after “?”), response code and your IP address. Form contents and request bodies are not logged. Purpose: security, protection against overload, finding bugs. If a request ends in an error, the same details (IP, method, address, code) also go to the server’s error log.

Rate limits. So that one visitor cannot overload the site, the server counts calculations (up to 30 per 10 minutes) and PDF quotes (up to 5 per hour) per IP address. These counters live only in the server’s memory and are not written to disk.

What you enter in the planner. Room dimensions, doors and windows, number of people or amount of goods, furniture preferences and, if you wish, a project name for the quote. The planner does not ask for your name, phone or email. From these inputs the server calculates the plan, 3D model, specification and, on request, a PDF quote, and stores them in a folder named by a 16-character code. The code is derived from the inputs themselves: anyone who has the link with this code, or enters exactly the same inputs, will see the same plan. So please do not put personal data in the project name.

Lead requests and pilot statistics are switched off on this site: there is no “Send to manager” form here and no pilot events are recorded.

Visits. Pages of the site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare, it uses no cookies or browser storage and builds no visitor profiles; we only see aggregate numbers: page views, referrers, countries, device and browser types, loading speed.

Emails and calls. If you email or call us, we receive your address or number and whatever you tell us. We use it only to reply and to continue the conversation with you. Email is provided by Google (Gmail).

We do not sell data, show no ads and use no advertising trackers.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets one cookie, lang: the interface language (uk, en, de or pl). It is set when you open the planner with a language in the address (for example via buttons on the /l/ pages) and is kept in your browser for 1 year. It contains no identifier. The /l/ pages and this page set no cookies.

The site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB.

As a protective proxy, Cloudflare may in some cases set its own technical cookies (for example to filter bots) — see the list of Cloudflare cookies.

Third parties

These companies may process data outside Ukraine and the EU, including in the USA.

Your rights

Write to [email protected] and we will tell you what is stored about you, correct it or delete it. To find log entries, give your IP address and the approximate time of your visit; for a plan, its link. We answer within one month, usually sooner.

In Ukraine your rights are set by the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” (Article 8): to know which data are processed and why, to access them, to object to processing, and to demand that data be changed or destroyed. You can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (ombudsman.gov.ua) or to a court.

In the EU and EEA the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies: the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Articles 15–21). We keep the technical log and the visit counter on the basis of legitimate interest — site security and understanding which pages are useful (Article 6(1)(f)); planner data are processed to carry out your request for a calculation (Article 6(1)(b)). You can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work (list of EU authorities).

Changes

If we change what data the site collects, this page will be updated together with the version date at the top.
